Girls Varsity Golf

Coach Mark Collantes will be entering his third year at Altamonte Christian School. He started the golf team in 2021, with 4 individuals appearing in the SSAC golf tournament. Coach Collantes led the soccer team to 2 SSAC soccer championships in 2021 and 2022.

Coach Collates played 3 years of varsity golf in high school. In 2012, he attended Southeastern University and graduated with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Religion. During college, Mark started a girls lacrosse team in Lakeland, FL, which is now part of the FHSSA.

After college, Coach Collantes coached high school sports, while giving golf lessons on the side. In the Fall of 2021, ACS campsites in their first annual SSAC Golf Tournament. In addition to that year, Coach Collantes stepped up mid-season of the 2022 varsity soccer team to lead them to a SSAC Championship. He is frequently seen on the course or in the with athletes from all over.

With 25-plus years of experience in the game of golf, Collantes is thrilled to continue growing the game of golf at ACS.
