ACS Athletics is proud to announce the addition of Tyree Crutchfield as the Head Coach/Program Director of our Girls Basketball team.

He has been coaching girls’ varsity basketball for 8 years; including 4 years as head coach and 4 as an assistant coach. Every season as head coach, he has reached the district championship game, participated in the regional playoffs, and never had a below 500 season.

Coach Tyree comes to us from Trinity Christian Academy. He served as the Head Coach to a team that graduated 8 seniors and returned only two players. Through Coach Tyree’s leadership, TCA had a winning season (Overall 8-8), competed for the district championship, and made the regional playoffs.

From 2017-2020, Coach Tyree was the Head Coach at Real Life Christian Academy in Clermont, Florida. He was a part of the school’s transition into the FHSAA, resulting in the team having three straight winning seasons (overall 60-28), regional playoff appearances, and appearing in consecutive district championships for the first time in school history. As an assistant coach, Coach Tyree has been a part of two district and regional championship teams. In addition, Coach Tyree is the creator and founder of the Central Florida United AAU basketball team that has helped players’ development and has had over 50% of his athletes placed in college.

Coach Tyree holds three degrees and received his Master’s Degree from Ashford University.  He has one son: Tyree K’shon Crutchfield.
